Dexcom G6 Transmitter is an original reusable transmitter designed for the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. It connects to a Dexcom G6 sensor and wirelessly sends glucose readings and trend information via Bluetooth to a compatible Dexcom receiver or smart device.
As part of the Dexcom G6 system, the transmitter automatically sends updated glucose information every 5 minutes, allowing users to follow current glucose values, direction and trends throughout the day without manually scanning the sensor.
The Dexcom G6 transmitter is reusable across multiple sensor sessions and is designed to operate for up to approximately 3 months from activation. After a Dexcom G6 sensor session ends, the transmitter can be removed and installed in a new compatible Dexcom G6 sensor while sufficient transmitter battery life remains.

A compatible Dexcom G6 sensor and display device are required for use. Glucose information can be viewed on a compatible smartphone or Dexcom receiver. Supported smartwatches may display Dexcom G6 information through a compatible smartphone and app configuration.
